Layout
コレクション内のアイテムは、レイアウト (layout) を使用して配置できます。Data Illustrator は、グリッド (grid)、スタック (stack)、パック (pack)、ツリーマップ (treemap)、および なし (none) の各レイアウトを提供します。プロパティインスペクタパネルのコントロールを使用して、コレクションに適用されるレイアウトを変更できます。
グリッドレイアウト (Grid Layout)
デフォルトでは、繰り返し (repeat) 操作を使用して生成された図形は、グリッドレイアウトに配置されます。グリッドレイアウトのパラメータには、行数、行間隔、列数、列間隔、水平および垂直方向の重力 (gravity) が含まれます。重力パラメータは、各グリッドセル内の図形がセルの左、中央、右、上、中央、下のいずれに配置されるかを決定します。Data Illustrator では、すべてのパラメータをプロパティインスペクタのコントロールで変更できます。さらに、行間隔と列間隔は、グリッドの行と列の間にあるピンク色の長方形をドラッグすることで変更できます。
スタックレイアウト (Stack Layout)
デフォルトでは、分割 (divide) 操作を使用して生成された図形は、スタックレイアウトに配置されます。 スタックレイアウトのパラメータには、方向 (orientation)、水平および垂直方向の重力 (gravity) が含まれます。重力パラメータは、各グリッドセル内の図形がセルの左、中央、右、上、中央、下のいずれに配置されるかを決定します。Data Illustrator では、すべてのパラメータをプロパティインスペクタのコントロールで変更できます。
パックレイアウト (Pack Layout)
パックレイアウトは、以下の図に示すように、円のコレクションに適用できます。
ツリーマップレイアウト (Treemap Layout)
ツリーマップレイアウトは、以下の図に示すように、長方形のコレクションに適用できます。
なし (None)
コレクションのレイアウトを「なし (None)」に変更することもできます。そうすると、図形を自由に移動させたり、図形の視覚的プロパティにデータエンコーディングを適用したりできるようになります。
Items in a collection can be positioned using a layout. Data Illustrateur provides the following layouts: grid, stack, pack, treemap, and none. You can change the layout applied to a collection through the control in the Property Inspector panel.
Grid Layout
By default, shapes generated using the repeat operation are placed in a grid layout. Parameters of a grid layout include: number of rows, row gap, number of columns, column gap, horizontal & vertical gravity. The gravity parameters determine if the shape inside each grid cell is aligned to the left, center, right, top, middle or bottom of the cell. In Data Illustrateur, all the parameters can be changed through the controls in the Property Inspector. In addition, the row gap and column gap can be changed by dragging the pink rectangles between the grid rows and columns.
Stack Layout
By default, shapes generated using the divide operation are placed in a stack layout. Parameters of a stack layout include: orientation, horizontal & vertical gravity. The gravity parameters determine if the shape inside each grid cell is aligned to the left, center, right, top, middle or bottom of the cell. In Data Illustrateur, all the parameters can be changed through the controls in the Property Inspector.
Pack Layout
The pack layout is applicable to a collection of circles, as shown in the figure below.
Treemap Layout
The treemap layout is applicable to a collection of rectangles, as shown in the figure below.
None
You can also change the layout of a collection to “None”, doing so will allow you to freely move the shapes around, and apply data encodings to the shapes' visual properties.
